When you are ready to put together the nursery, your first purchase should be the furniture and baby bedding. The nursery bedding should be one of the first things you buy so that you can color-coordinate the room’s paints and fabrics. Once you’ve decided on the theme and decorations for the nursery, ask some friends to help you put it together; there will be a lot of work that would take a lot out of you even if you weren’t pregnant.
